These courses primarily target expatriate audiences (private schools), immigrants(training centers and associations). The objectives are often varied (training centers and associations), and there is of course a continuum between the different designations and the programs, depending on the audience, their needs and the objectives, and needs of the prescribers.

These courses and training programs include several components:

• Linguistic: general and specific French (vocabulary, speech acts, etc., related to the targeted professional environment)
• Technical: professional skills (know-how and interpersonal skills)
• Practical: with a period of professional immersion
• Intercultural: observation of cultural differences and appropriation of social and cultural codes specific to French society.
• Evaluation: Validate a level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) or acquired French language skills.

The content and modalities of the courses (prerequisites, frequency, duration, financial participation, etc.) are developed in consultation with partners and prescribers.
